Has anyone managed to set up apigee to work in conjunction with Python for twitter usage, with OAuth? I'm trying to get it to work with tweepy but it doesn't seem to allow you to change the api to a different one in this case apigee's.
EMPLOYEE0The key is to use an OAuth library that respects a proxy-use-case (like Apigee). Try using this version:
The big changes are that in this file:
you can supply and optional proxy endpoint like this:
oauth.Client(self._Consumer).request(url, "GET", "api-yourid.apigee.com")
Hope that helps.
I run Twitter Three-legged OAuth Example;
where the consumer_key and consumer_secret are for my APP
Authorize it and enter in the PIN number then to see if it works at the end of the program I added:
request_token_url = "http://api-user.apigee.com/1/statuses..."
resp, content = client.request(request_token_url, "GET", PROXY_DOMAIN)
But it still uses the non-OAuth log in.
