Redirect is not supported by Apigee.
Hi,
Im giving Apigee a whirl but getting - REDIRECT is not supported by Apigee - as a reply to all my requests. What causes that ? Could this be induced by Amazon Load Balancers not playing nice with Apigee proxies ?
Im using Amazon EC2 servers (Load balanced by Amazon) to handle API requests from my customers.
My usual test procedure, which works fine is :
test script <---> Nat Firewall <---> EC2 LB <---> Handset Detection server.
With Apigee that becomes
test client <---> NAT Firewall <---> Apigee <----> EC2 LB <---> Handset Detection server.
Cheers
Richard

Inappropriate?Hi Richard,
If you change your API Host Name (Target URL) from http://mydomain.com to http://www.mydomain.com it should take care of this problem.
This is a known issue (http://www.apigee.com/docs/troublesho...). In the future, the Apigee proxy setup will help to detect redirects like this and suggest the proper Target URL.
If this doesn't work, please let us know.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Richard,
We just received word that:
With yesterday's deployment we no longer throw an error back saying "Redirect not supported." Now we pass the message "as is" back to the client.
Please let us know if you have any further issues.
