Inappropriate?Rajan, we've got a couple designs we're working through to improve that experience.
If you decide to disable that policy (which we anticipate most app developers/consumers will do) then we will allow you a buffer beyond the 10k limit. During the preview we set the buffer at 5x. So as long your requests stay below 50k per hour you will be ok.
This is one of the most important hypotheses we're testing during the preview. So if you (or anyone else reading) have ideas about the ideal behavior we would love to hear it.
We'll be sharing some of our design thinking in the coming weeks about this issue.
