Consistent - Unexpected Internal Error

I am consistently getting an error when attempting to access a certain method in my api. How does apigee handle HTTP response codes passed from my api (500, 405, 404) etc.

Thanks for reporting the problem.

Apigee is designed to handle response codes by passing back the original response code without any adjustment.

You might be encountering a bug. Would you be able to share further details? For example, what is the response code? To make it easy for us to replicate you could also let us know the original method URL and the proxied method URL.

If you need to keep the details private, please send an email to support@apigee.com.

FYI, we also proposed a solution for the future to add an indicator in the header whether Apigee has changed the response code due to a policy violation: http://getsatisfaction.com/apigee/top...

Hello Mike,

we pass thru the http payload and the response code we receive from the target. can you please elaborate on what is the error that you are seeing. Please free to mail it to support email if the data is confidential
